ProSiebenSat.1 Media has said that its two new thematic channels, Sat 1 Comedy and Kabel 1 Classics will be launched at the beginning of June. The two channels will be added to the basic packages of cable operators Unity Media and KDG as part of the recent agreement that saw the broadcasters generalist channels ProSieben, Sat 1 and Kabel 1 added to digital packages for the first time. The broadcaster will receive a proportion of the cable operators revenues from its pay packages. Separately, it was reported this week that Unitys Arena pay-TV division had received an initial 20,000 orders for its Bundesliga football package.
