Eutelsat Communications has confirmed that all broadcast clients formerly using the Groups Hot Bird 2 satellite were transferred in the night of March 14 to Hot Bird 8. The transfer, which implies no change in reception parameters for DTH homes and cable operators, was carried out as a precautionary measure after an anomaly was observed on Hot Bird 2 in the satellites power sub-system. This anomaly is currently under full investigation.
